After a degree in English from London University, Rupert’s business career began with top London advertising agencies, before setting up a successful creative agency called Pitch. After that he was head-hunted to bring to market a ground-breaking direct insurer. He then headed up Dial-a-Phone’s marketing team, with a budget for TV, press and online of £30m a year. More recently he was Performance Marketing Director at a global affiliate network, as well as investing in a number of tech-based start-ups.
His big passion is skiing, and he also enjoys running, cycling, tennis and fishing. He recently completed his first novel (writing not reading!) and has had a number of his short stories published. His other big passion is growing stuff, and he’s just taken on a second allotment which he intends to use for grape vines. Married to Tracy, they live with their dog Nelly.
